~*~

You are holding a hand-written letter from a dear old friend in your hands.
You recognize the hand-writing and smile to yourself.

Here's what the letter says...

Hi my dear old pilot-friend :)

First let me say that I hope you're doing well, and that life is good. With all the fun things we've done together you certainly deserve it.
Lotsa fond memories there, for sure :)

Ok, read closely now. This is a secret letter for your eyes only! (It was YOU who opened it, right?)

On 8:30-am Sunday morning march 9th 2008, you should be at the south-end of Börringesjön in Sweden (This is just a small walk north-east of Ugglarp), to pick up our trusty old 'Goose' which is parked on a small discrete beach-side of the lake (It belongs to a rich lawyer in our organization who has a big house there (Maybe if you fly well, you might even get invited to one of his and his wife's many parties there. They're a great couple, so you don't want to miss that if the chance arises :) ))

Anyway, the 'Goose' is packed with a few bags of good quality marijuana. Now we need to get this good stuff undiscovered to Denmark so the marijuana-smokers there don't have to go hungry :)

You're the heroic pilot that gets to do this (the hippies will love you, I promise :) ) and here's the suggested flightplan:

Do your pre-flight check-list (make sure you lower the floats before getting into the water)

Then drive from the beach into the water, raise your gear, and then take off (a water-takeoff)
(The lake extends in a north-eastern direction, but check the wind first and then decide how you want to go about it. If you can't safely take-off, then DO NOT go! This will be YOUR call and we don't wanna lose you buddy :) )

OK, so when you're airborne and clear of the trees, do a left-turn to track a course of 120 degrees (if you do a right-turn you'll likely overfly a nearby airport (Sturup, ESMS), which is probably a bad idea as we don't really want anyone to notice this flight too much :) )

Fly casual (and if anyone asks, then you're just a 'leisure-suit Larry' out to get some morning relaxation ;) ...or whatever other silliness you can think of :) ) and maintain a VFR-altitude between 1,500 and 4,500 feet indicated altitude (you're the pilot, so YOU decide, but this is what the other pilots usually do). Stay IN the clouds if possible to avoid being seen too much (especially those darn hobbyist plane-spotters, they tend to register everything flying, so stay high (Hey, didn't you and I go plane-spotting once? Haha :) That's how you know you shouldn't fly near them :) Haha, good laugh there.))

OK, back to this flight :) :
You should land at EKRN (Roenne, Bornholm, Denmark) which have these radio-data:

NAV: 112.00
ILS: 109.35 (rwy11), 110.30 (rwy29)
ADF: 334

Be careful with the wind, it tends to always be rough and bumpy there (You'll manage :) )

When you land you should taxi to the assigned general-aviation parking-spot (contact ATC if you're not already in contact with them) and shut down the engines, and then someone will pick up the bags and get them out to the various dealers in Christiania in Copenhagen (A great place by the way. Especially in the summer :) . Did you ever get a chance to visit that? If you ever do then call me and we'll do a family-outing there. That would be nice :) )

Alright, this flight should all in all take you about an hour, or a little less (just take your time :) )

Then go collect your money and forget all about the flight :)

If you do well, and if your interested, I'll call you when there are new flights on offer :)

Greetings
Mr. X.

and here's a transcript of the letter in case you to couldn't read Mr. X's hand-writing :)
